FDGA (The Hong Kong Food, Drink & Grocery Association), formerly the Liquor and Provision Importers Association – LPIA, has been active since it registered as a society on October 17, 1973. FDGA has become well-known in official circles. It is a well-established, independent and solid representation for 26 food and beverage companies.

FDGA provides a forum for companies that are active in manufacturing, importing, marketing and distributing branded food, drinks or grocery products in Hong Kong. FDGA’s members meet regularly to review and discuss industry issues and concerns, decide on actions wherever necessary, and communicate with the media, the industry or the Government on these issues.

Through its quarterly gatherings, FDGA provides an opportunity for members to network with other members of the trade and discuss topics of interest in the industry. In addition, the Executive Committee meets regularly to conduct the business of the Association.

The Government, other associations and trade bodies leverage FDGA as a vehicle to reach its member on various topical issues.
